Entessa, the leading suppier of Supply Chain Management solutions for the Oil & Gas industry, is entering 2007 with optimism after having completed a highly successful 2006. Entessa achieved all of its expected milestones during 2006 and continues to experience success in the marketplace. This success is underscored by a need to relocate its corporate office in early 2006 in order to move into facilities capable of accommodating a staffing increase and able to accommodate anticipated staffing levels. Entessa's corporate headquarters is near its previous facility and remains strategically located in the energy corridor in Houston. The current staff possess a well rounded mixture of industry expertise and technical talent and the pool of experienced staff increased through the delivery of several key projects to clients in 2006. During 2007 Entessa anticipates continuing its ongoing search for additional staff in order to accommodate further anticipated growth.
Entessa additionally changed its corporate governance structure in 2006, from a Limited Liability Corporation, to a C Corporation. This change was undertaken because the new governance structure has distinct advantages for a company that is growing and wishing to attract a high level of talent. This change in corporate governance did not require Entessa to assume any debt or external equity investments.
In 2006 Entessa's flagship supply chain management solution for the Oil & Gas industry, Synthesis, also achieved its milestones. Synthesis was selected by several major North American pipeline and terminal operators as their logistics management application, and that trend is expected to continue into 2007. Synthesis is now the industry's leading choice for terminal and pipeline operators and refiners with which to manage the increasingly complex and strategic business of Oil & Gas logistics and continues to generate high levels of interest in the market place. In 2006, Synthesis had one major upgrade and several point releases. In 2007, Entessa anticipates releaseing Version 4 of Synthesis.
In 2007 Entessa also anticipates expanding its partner and alliance base as existing solutions and services providers realize the harmonies possible through Entessa's continued success. in addition to its existing partners, Entessa is currently in discussions with major Solutions and Application partners.
Entessa plans on increasing its international presence in 2007. Entessa already has customers in Europe and Asia but will increase its international presence in 2007 through partnerships and sales efforts.
